as per question , the required number must satisfy the following ;

DIGIT IN TENS PLACE OF TWO DIGIT NUMBER SHOULD BE THREE TIMES GREATER THAN IN THE UNITS PLACE .

IF THE DIGIT IS REVERSE THE NEW NUMBER SHOULD BE 36 LESS THAN THE ORIGINAL NUMBER

SO, let the number be XY where Y = 3X
: when Y = 1
number formed will be 31 and when the digits are reversed , number formed is 13 but the difference will not be equal to 36 , so 31 is not the required number.

: when Y = 2
number formed will be 62 and when the digits are reversed , number formed is 26 , as you can observe their difference is 36 , HENCE 62 IS THE REQUIRED NUMBER.
