and tens place be x
given that x~y = 3
if x is in 10s place it would be 10x
and y in unit place is y
so the number would be (10x + y)
reversing and subtracting
(10x + y) - (10y + x)
= 9x - 9y
=9 (x-y)
= 9(3)
=27
so the difference btw number and the number formed by reversing its digit is 27
