Answer:

A two digit number can be written as -> 10x + y .

x -> first digit and y -> second digit.

Now ,

The digits are differ by 3 i.e,

| x - y | = 3

The sum of number and the number when its digits are interchanged is 143 .

( 10x + y ) + ( 10y + x) = 143

i.e ,

x + y = 13 .

If you take x - y = 3 then,

x = 8 & y = 5 and the number will be 85 .

And if you take x - y = -3 then,

x = 5 & y = 8 and the number will be 58.

Hope this will help.
