area of one square tile=(1.2)^2=1.44m^2

no. of tiles required = area of hall/area of 1 tile

=17.28/1.44

=12 tiles

12 is the correct answer...

Area of the hall = ( 4.8 × 3.6 )m²

Area of the square tiles = ( 1.2 × 1.2 ) m²

Required number of tiles = 4.8 × 3.6 / 1.2 × 1.2 = 12 Ans...
