The dimensions of a cuboid are in the ratio 5:3:1 and it's total surface area is 414m.sq. Find the dimensions.

Total surface area of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+hl)

= 2(5x × 3x +3x × 1x + 1x × 5x)

= 2(15x² + 3x² + 5x² )

414cm² = 2(23x²)

414cm²/2 = 23x²

x = √207/23

x = 3

now lenght = 5 × 3 = 15m

breath = 3 × 3 = 9m

height = 1 × 3 = 3m
