The dimensions of a cuboidal box are 60cm× 48cm× 12cm.If 60 such boxes are to be covered with cloth,how many meters of cloth of width 80cm is required.

Answer:

Total surface area of cuboid=2(lb+lh+bh)

=2(60*48+60*12+12*48)

=2 *4176 =8352 cm²

TSA of 60 cuboids= 8352*60=501120

therefore length of cloth required=501120/80 cm=6264cm=62.64 m
