the dimensions of a field are 15m by 12m. A pit 7.5m long, 6m wide and 1.5m is dug at one corner of the field. The earth removed is evenly spread aver the remaining area of the field. calculate the rise in level of the field.

quuestion is not written properly, pit is 7.5 m long 6 m wide 1.5 m dug.. pit is long,wide and deep.. hows that.?? we will have to take one thing either lenght of pit or dug length

Volume of earth=7.5*6*1.5=67.5 cubic m
Area of field =15*12=180sq m
Remaining area=180-45=135sq m
Rise in level =67500000/1350000
=50cm
