The dimensions of a lift are 160cm × 30cm × 50cm. How many people can fit inside this lift if on an average space occupied by a person is 120cm × 10cm × 40cm?

Thus capacity / volume of the lift= 160✖30✖50

= 240000 cubic cm.

space occupied by each person= 120✖10✖40= 48000 cubic cm.

Number of persons can fit = 240000/ 48000

= 5 persons
