\huge\underline\blue{\sf Given:}

dimensions of a tin are 60 cm x 35 cm x 24 cm

\bold{\boxed{\huge{\boxed{\orange{\small{\boxed{\huge{\red{\bold{\:Answer}}}}}}}}}}

TSA of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+hl)

TSA of cuboid = 2(60*35+35*24+24*60)

TSA of cuboid = 2(2100+840+1440)

TSA of cuboid = 2(4380)

TSA of cuboid = 8760 cm²

TSA of 30 such tins = 8760 * 30 = 262800 cm²

now we know that ,

10000cm² = 1m²

so,,

TSA of 30 such tins = 26.28m²

cost of 30 such tins sheet = 26.28 * 25 = RS. 657 (Ans)

\rule{200}{4}

Dimensions are:- 60 cm, 35 cm and 24 cm.

Here -

  • length = 60 cm
  • breadth = 35 cm
  • height = 24 cm

As tin is in cuboid shape.

So, the total surface area of tin = Surface area of a cuboid.

\sf{Total\:surface\:area\:of\:tin\:=\:2(lb\:+\:bh\:+\:hl)}

=> \sf{2[60(35)\:+\:35(24)\:+\:24(60)]}

=> \sf{2(2100\:+\:840\:+\:1440)}

=> \sf{2(4380)}

=> \sf{8760} cm²

\sf{\underline{For\:30\:tins}}

=> \sf{8760\:\times\:30}

=> \sf{262800} cm²

1 m² tin costs Rs. 25.

So, 262800 cm² tin costs =?

But wait! we have the cost of tin in m². So, first, convert cm² into m².

To convert cm into m divide by 100. And to convert cm² into m².

Divide by 10000.

=> \sf{\dfrac{262800}{10000}}

=> \sf{26.28}

\therefore Cost of 26.28 m² of tin = \sf{25 \:\times\: 26.28}

=> \sf{Rs.\:657}

•°• Rs. 657 is the cost of tin required for making 30 tins.
