In CO2 molecule, there is no lone pair present.Hence.it's shaper will be linear. When the oxygen atom attracts the electron pair then it becomes partially negative and cqrbon atom becomes partially positive. All the things happen equally in both atom.Hence, the charges cancels out and dipole moment of CO2 becomes zero.
