The dire need of the hour is alternative sources of energy. Write a note on why the use of fossil fuels is not economical from the point of sustainability. Why alternative fuels are the most preferred? The use of solar panels had not been fully utilised. why? The windmills have lot many problems so as to form a part of sustainable power resource. Elucidate.

Answer: sustainability is defined as the three parameter :-

1) environmental sustainability

2) social Sustainability

3) economical sustainability.

Explanation: In the case of fossil fuels like coal in the point of sustainability -

a) environmental sustainability - in the case of fossil fuels like coal there is an emissions of high level of pollution because of burning of coal and process of doing mining .

b) Social sustainability - Due to burning of coal and process of doing mining there is an adverse effect on the health of workers.

3) Economical sustainability - In this case it gives heavy economy but due to above factors.

This one is not most preferred for sustainability.

That's why other fuel is most preferred due to above parameter is best for sustainability.

The use of solar panels us not fully utilised because :-

1) weather conditions - somewhere place heavy rainfall, somewhere place heavy cold weather there is no sunny day... That's why it is not fully utilised.

Windmills have so many problems to form sustainable power resources due to following reasons :-

1) In many areas wind fluctuates that's why windmill doesn't works.

2) Installation of windmill is too expensive that cannot afford nominal person.

3) Due to installation of windmill, there is an loss of bird life's.

4) During running condition of windmill it creates noises, which comes under noise pollution and affect environmental sustainability.

That's why it is not comes under

Sustainable power resources.

Fossil fuels are available in limited amounts on earth. They take hundreds of years to form, and they get used up within a few minutes. So, using them on a regular basis can lead to their depletion, and we would be left without them very soon.

That's why methods have been developed to use alternative sources of energy. These sources, like the sunlight and wind energy, are abundantly found on earth and will not get consumed up with time.
