THE DIRECTION OF MAGNETIC FIELD CAN BE DETERMINED BY PLACING A COMPASS IN THE MAGNETIC FIELD. THE COMPASS NEEDLE WILL ALIGN ITSELF IN THE NORTH DIRECTION, THE DIRECTION OF FORCE WILL BE IN THE DIRECTION OF MAGNETIC FIELD.
