The speech –  

Greetings ladies and gentlemen,  

I am very honoured today that my company has given me the chance to become the chief petty officer of the ship. I have always loved my job and preferred working with honesty and loyalty. I believe that efforts which are once given bring good to you in return. I consider myself lucky to have such seniors (mention few names if you can) above me. They are very cooperative, and I learned so many things from them. I hope never to let them and the company down. Thank you very much for such honour and love.
