because in india people have great faith in all such superstitious things and they all do things for performing all those superstitious activities. Moreover, in india there is racial discrimination till now and the worst thing is that reservation is granted to low and oppressed castes and due to reservation people are selected for the desired job on the basis of their caste ;not on the basis of their talents.
