SOLUTION:-

Given:

2x² -3x -5 =0

The roots of the quadratic equation;

Ax² + Bx +C= 0 as compared to:

⚫A=2

⚫B=-3

⚫C=-5

Therefore,

Discriminate, (D)= b² -4ac =0

So,

=) (-3)² - 4(2)(-5) =0

=) 9 - 4(-10) =0

=) 9 - (-40)=0

=) 9 + 40 =0

=) 9 = -40

=) -40/9

Hope it helps ☺️
