3x^2-2√3x+1=0

On comparison with ax^2+bx+c=0

a=3,b=-2√3 and c=1

Discriminant,D

b^2-4ac=(-2√3)^2-4(3)(1)=12-12=0

Hence,D=0

The equation has real and equal roots
