While solving this numerical I am assuming that you have basic idea of the difference between displacement and distance.


Distance is the length of the total path traced from starting to finishing point, where as Displacement is the shortest distance in between two points.


So, in order to find the displacement vector of the particle if it moves from A (3, 4, 5) to B(4, 5, 6) we have to simply subtract the two with unit vectors alongside.


Displacement vector r→ = Δxi^+Δyj^+Δzk^ =(4-3)i^+(5-4)j^+(6-5)k^=i^+j^+k^. (Ans)
