The displacement x of a particle is dependent on time t according to the relation : x=3-5t+2t² If t is measured in seconds and x in metres, find its (i) velocity at t = 2s and (ii) acceleration at t = 4s.​

x=2t^2-5t+3

by using differentiation

v=dx/dt= nx^(n-1)

v=2*2t^(2-1)-1*5t^(1-1)+0*3t^(0-1)

v=4t-5

t=2s

v = 4*2 -5

v=8-5

v=3m/s

a=d^2x/dt^2

a=d^2(4t-5)/dt^2

a = 1*4t^(1-1)-0*5t^(0-1

a= 4 m/s^2
