Answer:

perimeter of the rectangular field= 400m

let breadth of the field= x

then length of the field= x+26

perimeter of the rectangular field=

2(length+breadth)

2(x+x+26)=400

2x+26= 200

2x= 174

x = 87

breadth = 87m

length=87+26=113m

꧁SOLUTION ꧂

✧♥༻༺♥✧

✼GIVEN✼

  • The distance around a ractangle field=400m
  • It means the perimeter of ractangle=400m

✼LET

  • The breadth of ractangle be X
  • The length of rectangle be X+26

✼According to the above information✼

⟶perimeter = 2(l + b) \\  \\ ⟶400 = 2(x + 26 + x) \\  \\ ⟶400 = 2(2x + 26) \\  \\ ⟶200 = 2x + 26 \\  \\ ⟶2x = 200 - 26 \\  \\ ⟶2x = 174 \\  \\ ⟶x = 87m

✮Hence:-

➞Length=X+26➞87+26=113m

➞Breadth=X➞87m
