The wavelength of the wave is 1.2 m

we know, the distance between two successive compression or two successive rarefaction is known as wavelength of wave.

i.e., λ = distance between two successive compression or rarefaction

⇒λ = 2 × distance between compression and its consecutive rarefaction.

⇒λ = 2 × 0.6 m = 1.2

hence wavelength of the wave is 1.2 m
