The distance between a compression and a consecutive rarefaction will be lambda/2
(lambda is the symbol of wavelength)
Here, lambda/2=30 cm
so lambda = 30 *2= 60 cm
60 cm =0.6 m

velocity=frequency*wavelength
340=frequency*0.6
frequency=340/0.6
frequency=566.66Hz
