The distance between any two parallels is always equal/same.

EXPLANATION:

The two lines are said to be parallel to each other if distance between these two lines remains equal or same throughout lines. It can also be calculated by drawing a perpendicular from one line to the other line and if the distance between these two lines remains same throughout line then they are said to be parallel to each other.

For example, if we draw two lines, "line A and line B both having the same length of 30 cm". And, both of the lines are drawn in such a way that they are at a distance of 10 cm from each other. Now we draw a perpendicular from line A on line B and then again from line B to line A, if in both the cases distance between them is 10 cm then, these lines are said parallel to each other.
