The distance between delhi and kolkata is 1500km and the fare for the travelling by train is Rs3000. The distance between delhi and kanpur is 500km. What will be the fare for travelling up to the kanpur from delhi?

For travelling 1500km the fare is RS.3000
For 1 km, fare Will be=3000/1500
=RS.2 per km

for 500km the fare will be 500*2

= RS.1000

THEREFORE THE FARE FOR TRAVELLING DELHI TO KANPUR WHICH IS 500km IS RS.1000
