The distance between sun and earth is 1.496 x 10 ^11m and the distance between earth and moon is 1492.16 x 10^8 m.during solar eclipse moon comes in between earth and sun .at that time what is the distance between moon and sun.

simply subract distance to the sun from distance to the moon
ie. 1.496 x 10^11-1492.16 x 10^8
10^10 x (14.96-14.9216)
0.0384 x 10^10 ~ 3.84 x 10^8
