Total distance = 1200km
V1 = 60km/h
V2 = 50km/h
D1 = D2 = 600km
Time taken in first half = D1 / V1 = 600/60
= 10hr
Time taken in second half = D2 / V2 = 600/50
= 12hr
Now Average speed = Total distance / total time
= 1200 / (10 + 12)
= 1200 / 22
= 54.54 km/hr
THANKS
