the distance between tiger and deer is 60m . the deer is running with uniform velocity of 12m/s and tiger is running with uniform acceleration 1.5m/s2.At what time will the tiger meet the deer

given, velocity of deer is 12m/s, and it's acceleration is 0m/s².let us assume initial velocity of tiger is 0. we know that

Srelative=urelative*t+arelative*t²/2

60=12t+3t²/4

240=48t+3t²

80=16t+t²

t=-4 or 20

since time cannot be negative. the tiger meets the deer in 20 seconds.
