Given:

Radius of circle = 3cm

To Find

The distance between two parallel tangents of a circle

Explanation:

Let the center of the circle be O and the parallel tangents be a and b

The angle between these two tangents = 180°

Difference between a and b = 2r

Distance = diameter

    that is 2r

     Therefore  2×3

                  = 6 cm

Answer is 6 cm
