\huge{\mathfrak{Heya!!}}

.
Given :-

The distance by road =216 km

and

The distance by rail =208km

\bf{\mathbb{According \:to \:question}}
.

=>. Speed of car = x km/ hr

=> speed of train = x+16 km/hr

As we know that,

speed \: = \frac{diatance}{time}

So,

A) Time taken by the car =Distance / speed of car

=216 /x hr

\bf{\mathbb{Time \:taken \:by\: car=216 km / xkmhr^-1}}

B) Time taken by train = distance / speed of train

\bf{\mathbb{Time\: taken \:by\: train =208/x+16 hr }}

Hope it helps u ☺️

Thanks. ;-)

<b>Hello Friends

↪ Given :

Distance between two towns A and B by road = 216 km

Distance between two towns A and B by rail = 208 km

Speed of Car = X km/h

Speed of Train = ( X + 16 ) km/h

A) Speed = Distance / Time

Time = Distance / Speed

∴ Time taken by the car to reach town B from A = 216 / x Hours

B) Time = Distance / Speed

∴ Time taken by the train to reach town B from A = 208 / ( X + 16 ) Hours
