GIVEN :

  • Distance of a roller = 2.5 meters
  • Length of a roller = 1.4 meters

TO FIND :

  • How much area will be covered in 7 revolution = ?

STEP - BY - STEP EXPLANATION :

=> Radius of a roller = 2.5/2 m

=> Length of a roller = 1.4m (GIVEN)

=> Curved surface area of roller = 2πrh

 =  > 2 \times \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{2.5}{2}  \times 1.4 = 11 {m}^{2}

=> Area covered in one revolution = covered surface area of a roller.

=> Area covered in 7 revolutions = 7 × curved surface area

=> 7 × 11 = 77m²

Hence, area covered in 7 revolution = 77m²
