The set of integers is closed under the operation of addition because the sum of any two integers is always another integer and is therefore in the set of integers.

Answer:

This statement relates to the closure property.

....which states that if a and b are integers then

a÷b should also be a integer.

But it can't be

For example,

6÷2=3

10÷3=not a integer

so not closed in division
