The Duke was a doberman weighing 23 kilos He was the real hero of the story because he was an extraordinary dog who was cheerful and enthusiastic by nature When his master Chuck Hooper met with an accident & was paralyzed he enabled him to walk like a normal man by making him move by step by step.......

Hi Sanket !!

Indeed the dog named Duke was the little hero of Chuck Hooper.
After a fateful car accident that reduced him to a paralysed cripple,Chuck lost all hopes of ever being able to walk again. He was confined within the four walls of his house and spent his entire day in boredom. He would stare into nothingness for long hours at a go and was in the depths of despair. The coin had suddenly flipped and he was not ready to face a sudden drastic change in his life.
However Duke was his ray of renewed hope. He lifted his numb spirits and used to constantly nudge and poke his master to take him for a walk as they used to earlier . Duke made the seemingly impossible task possible. He inspired Chuck to take his first step. What began as a single step now culminated into daily walks with a set of targets to achieve . Duke coordinated with his master well during those walks. He would wait for Chuck to catch up with him and pull the leash taut. He increased Chuck's efficiency day by day and made him set a major comeback in his office as well. His hardwork finally paid off in the end and Hooper was promoted to the rank of Assistant national sales manager to advance the objectors of the company step by step.....
This shows how a mere Doberman Pinscher inspired his master and gave him a new life before his untimely death..

Hope that helps !
