When one goes to help others who are in need, it may sometime result in the person helping, getting into trouble for his actions.  

If we take the above example, a person may find refuge, when the doors are opened to him by the resident. But if the person coming in newly, decides to impose himself within the shelter, it might even result in the person who invited him, going out or being sent out. The above line summarises these facts.
