The dough of cake containing flour and yeast rises after sometime.why?

co2 makes cakes pluffy.

heya.

Because the yeast release Carbon dioxide due to anaeorobic respiration when it soaks. so, due to the presence of carbon dioxide in between the dough molecules, the cake rises..
