THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE OF LAW OF INERTIA . THE PARTICLES OF DUST WHICH ARE ON THE CARPET ARE AT REST BUT WHEN WE BITTEN A CARPET IT COMES IN MOTION BUT THE PARTICLES TRIES TO REMAIN AT REST SO THEY FALL . LAW OF INERTIA IS THE LAW NEWTONS FIRST LAW OF MOTION.
LAW OF INERTIA :
IT STATUS THAT THE EVERY OBJECT WANT OR TRIES TO LIVE IN ITS ORIGINAL POSITION OR IN ITS STATE OF REST OR MOTION.
THANKS

According to newton laws of inertia when we bit carpet , its start vibrate , due to vibration carpet came in motion , but dust particles at rest . so, when carpet came in motion its isolated and fall down .
