Here R_e_f_f = ?

Refer to the All attachment (i , ii , iii , iv )

Circuit (i) - In the first attachments , equal resistance it means equal amount of currents flows. ( parallel- 2Ω and 2Ω)

Circuit (ii) - In the second circuit.Just simplified more(In series- 3Ω and 1Ω )

Circuit (iii) Same resistance equal current , ( Parallel - 4Ω and 4Ω)

Circuit (iv) Simplify series 2Ω and 2Ω

Now we get  R_e_f_f = 4Ω

therefore for the E ,

E = I × R

E = 4× 4

E=  16 v
