The earth pulls a freely falling body with an acceleration of 9.8 m/s2. But the body cannot pull the earth because earth is a massive body and it cant attract or pulled by any body......

It's true that a freely falling body is attracted by the earth with a acceleration of 9.8m/2 . the object is also pulling the earth towards it but with respect to earth the object is having less mass. as we know that the gravitational force is directly proportional to the product of their mass .that's the reason .

Hope it helps you
