It was also the farthest planet from sun and still is.
Also the orbit in which it travels is very different from the planets which are included in solar system. It's orbit is actually the biggest among all the planet and also is very different in shape as well as position
As Earth is the third planet from the sun it revolves the sun in 1 year and Pluto having all these characteristic features takes 248 years to revolve the sun though Pluto moves at a speed of 17096 km/hr and Earth only about 30km/hr.
