edge of cube = 20 cm
volume of cube = 20x20x20

volume of each small cube = 5x5x5

number of cubes
= (20x20x20)/(5x5x5)
=64

Answer:

64 cubes

Step-by-step explanation:

Edge of big cube = 20 cm

Volume of big cube = Side^3

                                 = 20^3

                                 = 8000cm^3

Edge of small cube = 5 cm

Volume of small cube = Side^3

                                 = 5^3

                                 = 125 cm^3

Number of small cubes can be formed from big cube = \frac{8000}{125}

                                                                                          = 64

Hence 64 cubes can be formed of edge 5 cm from the cube of edge 20 cm.
