The electric current I (in amperes) passing through a resistor is related to a voltage V across a resistor (in volts) and the resistance R (in ohms) by the formula I=V/R. The resistor is connected across the terminals of a car battery (12 volts). Construct a table of values from 2000 ohms to 5000 ohms. Use intervals of 1000 ohms

To construct:

A table expressing OHM'S LAW , with 12 volt battery and variable resistance from 2000 ohm to 5000 ohm with interval of 1000 ohm.

Solution:

  • We will simply apply the expression of Current = (Voltage)/(Resistance), considering that the temperature of the ambience remains constant.

\begin{array}{| c | c | c |}\cline{1-3} Potential\: Difference & Resistance & Current \\\cline{1-3} 12V & 2000\: ohm & 0.006\:A \\\cline{1-3} 12V & 3000\: ohm & 0.004\:A \\\cline{1-3} 12V & 4000\:ohm & 0.003\:A \\\cline{1-3} 12V & 5000\:ohm & 0.0024\:A \\\cline{1-3}\end{array}

Hope It Helps.
