simply use use the formula......

here

k shell means 1st shell

and m shell means 3rd shell

we know,

Z of hydrogen =1

now,use the formula

1/wavelength=Rh(1/1^2-1/n^2)

1/wavelength=Rh(1-1/9)

1/wavelength=Rh(8/9)

wavelength=9/8Rh

now put the value of rydberg constant

wavelength=9/(1.09×10^7)

wavelength=(9×10^-7)/1.09

which is ...9×10^-7,,, approx
