The Golden Age of Drama also known as the Elizabethan era went on during the years of Queen Elizabeth’s I reign, between the years 1558-1603. The era is mostly known for the huge rise of English drama, such as poetry, music, literature and of course theatre with Shakespeare and Marlowe among others who renewed the style in English theater. Elizabeth granted the creation of professional theaters in England, which would attract a lot of visitors, from poor to rich. But it was not only a time of culture but also a time of exploration and development for Britain in whole.
