whatever be the mass of the car the force applied would be the same
since F = m *a
we get F = m * 6 => m = F/6.

now if a block of mass 'm'. Therefore mass the engine has to pull = 2m (mass of block+mass of car).

since force applied by engine is constant F = (2m)*A (A is the new acceleration)
now we put value of m (F/6) in this equation and we get F = 2(F/6)*A
on solving A = 3 m/s².
