The entry point of solar energy into the ecosystem is photosynthesis.

EXPLANATION:

Plants prepare 'food' by photosynthesis process that needs sunlight and water. Plants use most of the sunlight to prepare their food.

'Solar energy' is the energy that comes from 'sun'. Producers capture the solar energy and convert it to chemical energy. Producers are mainly green plants and also some 'bacteria and algae'. Producers produce carbon based molecules that the other organisms in the ecosystem consume.
