we can write it as:

y = A [sin(kx+wt)+sin(kx-wt)]

y = A[sin(wt+kx)-sin(wt-kx)]

Comparing this eq. by standard wave eq.

We get Amplitude value = A

Direction of wave is  = X

Frequency = w

Phase constant  = k
