The equation of the displacement of a wave is given as Y = 2.5 sin (52.4 πt – 0.4πx ). Where x and y are in metre. Calculate:

b. Frequency =52.4π

c. Wavelength = 5 metre

[ K=0.4π

so, 0.4π=2π/lambda

or, lambda = 2*10/4=5]

d.Wave speed =v=omega / K

so, v=52.4π/0.4π=131 m/s
