To find,

The new fraction which is equivalent to the initial fraction.

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

First of all we have to calculate the multiplication factor which will be multiplied with both the numerator and denominator of the initial fraction, to produce the final fraction.

Multiplication factor = Denominator of new fraction/ Denominator of old fraction = 54/6 = 9

New numerator = Old numerator × Multiplication factor = 5×9 = 45

New fraction = New numerator/New denominator = 45/54
