the euivalent resistance of the parallel combination of two resistors of 60 ohm and 40 ohm is .............. .

1/R=1/R1 + 1/ R2
1/R= 1/60 + 1/40
1/R = 40+60/240
1/R=100/240
1/R= 5/12
R = 12/5 = 2.4ohm

Answer 2

1/R=1/R1 + 1/ R2

1/R= 1/60 + 1/40

1/R = 40+60/240

1/R=100/240

1/R= 5/12
So,
R = 12/5 = 2.4ohm
