Explanation:

it is found that the excess of pressure in a liquid drop it air bubble in a liquid is two times the surface tension of the liquid over the radius of a drop of the bubble . where as in case of soap bubble that excess of pressure is equal to fit times the surface tension over the radius.

The excess pressure inside an air bubble of water is given by the formula

                     ΔP = 2S / R

where : ΔP = Excess pressure inside the air bubble

              S = Surface tension of the liquid

              R = Radius of the air bubble formed

- This excess pressure is due to the difference of pressure inside and outside the surface of the bubble
