"Option (a) is the correct answer.

The excretory organ of cockroach is the malphigian tubules. There are 150 malphigian tubules in a cockroach, found in the haemolymph.

They are yellow coloured, thin, thread like structures found in bundles.

Uric acid, amino acid, water and inorganic materials are absorbed by the tubule from the haemolymph. Water and useful material is absorbed but the faeces and uric acid in solid form is finally excreted out of the cockroach.
