= √(12 + 2√9 × 3 )
= √ [ 3² + (√3)² + 2 × √9 × √3 ]
= √( 3 + √3 )²
= 3 + √3 ----( 1 )
Similarly
2 ) √( 12 - 6√3 ) = 3 - √3 ----( 2 )
Now ,
( √12 + 6√3 ) + ( √12 - 6√3 )
[ From ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) ]
= 3 + √3 + 3 - √3
= 6
